The residential carpet certification tests hands-on skills that demonstrate
proper installation techniques, including seam construction and is
accompanied by a written test to evaluate technical knowledge. This
certification is for experienced carpet installers with a minimum of two years
installation experience. R-I certification will be issued upon successful
completion of the hands-on and written tests.
